curious oddities

Who the heck am I anyway?!

what-i-am-johnny-crows-gardenHello World!

A little about me: Toronto is my current home, where I live with a mad invent0r and three cat cohorts: Miss S, Madame M and Senior P.

I also make stuff… here is the link for my Shoppe if you have not yet visited.

These are a few of my favorite things:

Cheeky cats, Saturday morning cartoons with a big bowl of bad-for-you-cereal, paper- I LOVE paper, chewy brownies with billows of chocolate icing, Japanese cute stuff, rusty gears and old machinery,  metal, old fairy tales, lemon stuff, expanses of desert, the way the red bark peels on the madrone trees, acorns, pirates, weather-bleached bones, crabby bunny rabbits, everything to do with Autumn and Halloween, colour, crows, letter-pressed cards, goggles, flowers, the circus, ridiculous attention to detail, dress-up parties, croquet, friends, hula hoops, expanses of ocean, mushrooms and my bicycle.

I delight in the magical, spooky, strange, imaginative and beautiful. There are so many wonderful people, projects, ideas and things that I discover on my travels, I just want to share them with everyone.

This is my collection of Curious Oddities.

If you have discovered something wonderful, created something marvelous, or just want to say hello – I would be delighted to hear from you!

Curiously yours,

Kat

I have a thing for clocks. I especially like antique grandfather clocks I have one that is around 50 years old but as antique clocks go, that isn’t very old.
